Investing in Namibia's future, one learner at a time.
The Gondwana Care Trust empowers young people in underserved communities across Namibia by improving access to quality education and essential learning resources. Through the provision of school supplies, support for safe and effective learning environments, and initiatives that promote consistent school attendance, the Trust helps remove barriers to education. This work strengthens academic outcomes while building confidence, independence, and long-term opportunity. By investing in youth development, the Gondwana Care Trust equips learners with the skills and support they need to succeed and contribute meaningfully to Namibia’s future.
Since 2018, the Gondwana Care Trust’s Back-to-School Bag Project has supported vulnerable children across Namibia by providing personalised, reusable school bags filled with essential stationery and age-appropriate school supplies. The initiative aims to encourage children to return to school, equip them with the tools needed for learning, and reward strong academic performance throughout the year.
Through partnerships with local suppliers, local and international donors, and the support of Gondwana lodges, the project continues to make education more accessible for children in underserved communities.
