Lodge Overview
Temporarily closed due to renovation work on the main building of Namushasha River Lodge.
We look forward to welcoming you back from 2 April 2026.
Anchored within a secluded channel on the Kwando River, the Namushasha River Villa is an exclusive double-story villa floating on pristine waters offering a tranquil retreat for those seeking privacy, intimacy, and luxury. The villa is located just 24 km south of Kongola along the scenic C49 in the Zambezi Region, a gateway to the breathtaking beauty of Bwabwata National Park.
Designed to accommodate a maximum of two guests, the villa is perfect for couples looking for a unique getaway. This all-inclusive experience begins with a boat transfer from the nearby Namushasha River Lodge. The villa itself boasts a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, a luxurious en-suite bedroom with a private balcony, air conditioning, and WiFi. The outdoor terrace features barbecue facilities, ensuring guests can savour meals under the African sky.
Enjoy the freedom of self-paced exploration with a private bar and pre-prepared meals tailored to your preferences. While the villa operates without on-site service for ultimate seclusion, radio communication with the lodge ensures seamless support. Included in the experience are exclusive activities such as guided game drives in Bwabwata National Park and tranquil boat cruises on the Kwando River.
Namushasha River Villa combines luxury, adventure, and serenity for an unforgettable escape in one of Namibia’s most remarkable wilderness areas.
Add more unforgettable experiences of solitude and pure luxury at Gondwana's other Secret Collection properties in the most unique places in Namibia.
Please note: In the dry season between September and December, the rivers tend to hold so little water that boat trips are limited, with little or no access to the river channels. You are welcome to enquire about the boat cruise activities upon check-in. We make every effort to maintain the activity as long as water levels permit. The safety of our guests comes first.
