Lodge Overview

In the idyllic village of Stampriet in southern Namibia lies Kalahari Farmhouse, a charming lodge amidst greenery and a homely feel. This hidden gem beckons travellers in search of a more relaxing retreat in the timeless fringes of the Kalahari. 

Entering the charming garden at Kalahari Farmhouse is like stepping into a magical enclave, far away from the world. The eleven cottages with colourful patchwork quilts, fireplaces and private bathrooms oodle of charm. Sit down on your veranda and ease into the day, the beautiful green garden surrounds you.  Well-positioned on the outskirts of Stampriet where life-giving artesian water spurts to the surface, the Farmhouse enjoys this generous boon in the Kalahari Desert. 

Dip into the sparkling pool or enjoy a drink at the quaint bar. Take a walk to the Farmhouse butchery and greenhouses. Here everything is made with love, locally sourced meats and produce are turned into exquisite dishes. Join a sunset excursion into the blazing dunes at Kalahari Anib Lodge only 30km away and let the sights and sounds of the Kalahari wind down your day. 

Take the time off on a trip to put up feet at Kalahari Farmhouse. Pick up some biltong for your journey as you continue your Namibian adventure.

Visit to Self-Sufficiency Centre

Guests are welcome to visit the butchery and smokery at the Self-Sufficiency Centre, where much of the meat for all the Gondwana Lodges is processed. Kindly note that there are no other activities at Kalahari Farmhouse, however guests are welcome to take part in the activities offered at Kalahari Anib Lodge 30 km away. Guests must arrange their own transport to Kalahari Anib Lodge.
