Supporting wellbeing to encourage growth and development.
The Gondwana Care Trust’s Health and Wellness initiatives improve quality of life in vulnerable communities across Namibia by increasing access to essential healthcare services and support systems. The programme addresses critical gaps through life-changing medical assistance, and community-driven wellbeing initiatives. A strong focus is placed on mental health, resilience, and emotional wellbeing, particularly among Namibia’s youth. By supporting both physical and mental health, the Gondwana Care Trust helps build stronger, healthier communities and empowers individuals to lead more stable, productive lives.
The Gondwana Care Trust proudly supports Alzheimer's & Dementia Namibia (ADN) as part of its Health and Wellness Initiative, helping improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their families. ADN provides specialised dementia care, caregiver training, and community education to build greater awareness and understanding of the condition across Namibia. Through this partnership, the Trust contributes to compassionate, person-centred care while promoting dignity, support, and hope for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Through our Health and Wellness Initiative, the Gondwana Care Trust proudly supports the Green Kick programme, promoting youth development, healthy lifestyles, and environmental awareness in Namibia. In partnership with Global United FC, the initiative encourages children to stay active through sport while fostering education, teamwork, and community engagement. Activities include tree planting, nutrition support, environmental conservation, and empowering girls through football. By investing in programmes that combine health, sport, and sustainability, the Trust helps create positive opportunities for children and strengthens communities for future generations.
